Together with our North American partner Wes Adams, we organized a 2-day leadership summit to connect, learn, and work together, developing closer ties between the teams of the recently merged construction companies, GeoStructures from Virginia and ASAP Group from Florida.
The challenge involved bridging the gap between two companies with distinct cultures and to build a unified team and establish shared values. Additionally, the leadership needed to collectively identify and prioritize the most significant opportunities and challenges facing the newly formed organization to chart a successful path forward.
Our Work
Interactive Summit: We facilitated a dynamic and collaborative 2-day offsite summit, providing a platform for 18 leaders from both companies to connect, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful discussions.
Values Alignment: Through facilitated activities, we guided the leadership team in defining a set of shared values that would serve as the foundation for the new company culture.
Strategic Planning: We facilitated brainstorming sessions and discussions to identify and prioritize key opportunities and challenges, enabling the leadership team to develop a unified strategic vision.
Results
Strengthened Relationships: The summit developed meaningful connections between leaders from both companies, laying the groundwork for a cohesive and collaborative team.
Shared Values: The leadership team defined a set of core values that reflect the aspirations and principles of the merged organization, providing a cultural compass for future decision-making.
Strategic Clarity: By identifying and prioritizing key opportunities and challenges, the leadership team gained a shared understanding of the path forward, enabling them to develop a focused and aligned strategy for success.
Next Steps
After the Leadership Summit we embarked on a 6 Month learning journey. In six month we will focus on equipping senior team members with leadership skills to create alignment, increase engagement, and sustain high performance through various workshops, coaching, and cross-organizational conversations.
